Making Memories Activity Challenge

As moms, we’re busy. We wear a million and one hats and try to do it all, which means we might not have time to come up with fun activities to do with our little ones. Or, maybe we want different activities to do and are feeling uninspired or overwhelmed with all that’s out there.

The Making Memories with Mom Activity Challenge solves that! Each week, you’ll receive at least one activity to do with your child(ren), focused on having fun, and making something cute that you can hold onto for years to come.

The activities in this challenge are for little ones who are approximately 1 year old to 4 years old. These activities can be adapted and adjusted to the age and ability of your child(ren)… just ask if you need ideas for adjusting an activity to fit your needs. 🙂

The Making Memories in May Activity Challenge is for:

  • Moms, grandmas, aunts, and anyone who wants to activities with toddlers and preschoolers
  • Moms who don’t have time to find and plan activities and then prepare them
  • Stay at home moms AND working moms (only need a minimum of 10-15 minutes per activity!)
  • Moms who want to do more with their children, but aren’t sure where to start
  • Moms who want to use stuff they have around the house
  • Moms who don’t want to do a lot of prep work or set up
  • Moms who want to talk with their kids and do short activities with them
  • Moms who want new ideas and things to try
  • Moms who are interested in learning more about setting up playful learning activities and discovery-based activities

The Making Memories in May Activity Challenge is NOT for:

  • Moms who are looking for a complete preschool curriculum (this is an intro/sample only, but if you’d like a preview of similar, future products, you’re in the right place!)
  • Moms who are looking for a “quick fix.” Adding in activities to do WITH your children is a lifestyle choice, not a magic pill.
  • Moms who don’t have 10-20 minutes to do an activity with their child
  • Moms who aren’t willing to step outside their comfort zone and try something new

What is the Making Memories Activity Challenge?

  • The Making Memories Activity Challenge is a challenge designed to help parents and caregivers incorporate more discovery and play-based learning activities into their child’s day, without tons of prep time or extra supplies.
  • You will receive an email with activities, supplies needed, etc. each week during the challenge.
  • You will have access to me in the Facebook group, as well as the other parents partaking in the challenge. We’ll check in, support one another, share our successes and our challenges, and share ideas. Accountability is key when trying something new, and the Facebook group does just that! 🙂

What can you expect at the end of the Making Memories Activity Challenge?

  1. You will know how to set up a successful playful learning activity.
  2. You will have a greater insight and understanding of your child(ren)’s interests and abilities.

Who is Connie Deal with Lessons and Learning for Littles?

Hi! I’m Connie, a mom of two little ones and former classroom teacher. I founded Lessons and Learning for Littles to help other parents teach their little ones at home, using simple activities that allow children to learn through play and discovery-based activities. I have a passion for making learning fun and for helping others.

My goal is to take the fear out of “teaching” children while making it easier for parents and caregivers to figure out and set up activities for their kids. I love activities that can be done at home to help children learn in an authentic way, not through apps and screens, that don’t require a lot of special stuff, tons of set up time and can be done with more than one child. Oh, and I’m about keeping it simple and making it as easy as possible. 😉

By joining this challenge, you’re taking the next steps towards learning more about setting up playful learning activities for your child, how to fine-tune your questioning strategies and talk with your child during an activity. You’re helping your child become a better communicator, discover and learn more, all while making memories with your child, simply by being present and doing a simple activity with your child each day. If you’re ready to learn from a teacher how to help your little one learn at home, without the use of fancy gadgets or screen time (or tons of “Pinterest” steps), then this challenge is for you! You owe it to yourself and your child(ren) to make memories together, by doing fun activities together instead of doing the same old stuff.

The Making Memories in May Activity Challenge starts May 1st! But, sign up early and get ideas for Mother’s Day sent to you each week in April.
